Hi guys out there.
I need an advice to buy a new video card, since I have an old computer
(4 years) I wonder if is useless or not.
I have a Dell Dimension 4300 with 1,6 GHz proc., 256 Mb ram and a
nVidia Geforce 2 MX with 32 Mb memory in the 4x AGP port. Has it a
sense to buy a graphic card with 123 or 256 Mb of ram? Will the power
of the card be fully employed with a slow microprocessor?

Thank for help.

Well actualy, in your circonstances, I'll recommend your to buy an ATI
RADEON 9600 XT of 128 or 256 MB. yes it would work on your processor but
don't get a better one than that otherwise your Processor won't take it...

If you got any questions... feel free to ask!

If you have an 4x AGP slot you can get a good card with
128mb. You don't need one with 256mb. It would cost to
much and it wouldn't be worth it.

You can get a 9600 pro 128mb with 256-bit for $149 or
lower.
