Hi,
A notification spontaneously popped up on my desktop today indicating an
Update to the software was available.
Some minor points:
1. The "Microsoft Antispyware is Installing Updates" window has its graphics
dimensions calculated incorrectly. My screen is 1600 x 1200 with Large
Fonts. This results in non-common DPI settings so graphics that fit
perfectly at design time on 96 DPI screens are too small here - see attached
screen shot (GIF Image).
2. The installer started with "Resuming installation".
3. A window appeared to flash over the top of the desktop at the start of
the install then disappear.
4. The installer asks too many questions. If the user says "Install" then
that is it, there should be no more conversation. There are too many windows
that popup Behind - for example the install complete window will popup
behind whatever you are working on even while having say the "Microsoft
Antispyware is Installing Updates" window moved aside and quite visible.
Personally, I think all user interaction should be within that one window.
If other windows must popup, then the should be centred on the
aforementioned window, not the Desktop and should not be Sent to the bottom
of the Z Order. Ditto for the last Restart Computer prompt....
Otherwise, a really cool product Thanks!
