Good point Jonathan, I can't see the favorites anywhere either, perhaps
e-mail the author about this and see what he says, it may of been removed
for a reason.

at present, x2 just offers one direct bookmark, which you can use as
in FAQ #20 for unlimited indirect bookmarks:

".... The way I do it is to create a folder called "C:\MyBookmarks"
(the name is irrelevant) where I add LINKS (shortcuts) to favorite
folders. Then, I assign one of the 6 2x direct bookmarks (<Ctrl+0> is
my choice) to "C:\MyBookmarks". I grant you that this is not as fast
as a direct <Ctrl+xx> bookmark, since it involves an extra jump, but
think of all the extra favourite folders you can manage! You can even
organize relevant shortcuts in their own subfolders within
"C:\MyBookmarks" ...."


at a later stage of course there'll be loads of direct bookmarks too

Favorites or some 'fast dir change' function is a 'must have' for
heavy FM users. 2x didn't have it when I first looked at it. I
imagine X2 will add it before it is out of alpha. I don't do
alpha's/beta's etc.

Have you checked out the free version of ACBrowser?

The AC means you can Add Comments to files to remind you what it
does or any other note you would like to add.
Minimal reg entries [shell extension]. 15 vs 208 in 2x.

software is highly regarded in this group.
