2.3 Final was released on 2004-07-25. I haven't tried it yet, just
uninstalled the old version and am going to install the new one. Home
page for the extension is here:

Just installed it and used it. Installation remembered my previous
settings from the last time, even after uninstalling the old version
of Prefbar. It works perfectly with the new version of Mozilla (1.7
Final.) The older version wasn't working with Moz 1.7 and I couldn't
clean my cache, history, location bar. All functionality has been
restored with this new version of Prefbar. And they've added the
button I've always wanted (Clear Cookies)!

A list of what's new is here:

For all Mozilla users, this is definitely a must-have, must-upgrade.
Excellent!

if this lets me pulldown then quickly toggle imgs.

Yes (actually a checkbox)

Yes (another checkbox)
etc prefs..

Prefs is already easy to access already (alt-e, e), so there is no
button to access the preferences panel. However, there are numerous
specific preference buttons available and if you know how, you can
create others.
then looks good (i'll check it someday...)
thx for info
