Just found a new version of Letterbox - email notifier.
At http://www.ultima-thule.co.uk/

Just started playing, but I see that it now has a spam trap.
I dislike Mailwasher and have been split between Poptray and Mailmoa. Now
of course I will be even mored confused, but I did like Letterbox in its
previous incarnation.

I'd suggest Popcorn, a small executable:
Version : Popcorn release 1.48
Author : http://www.ultrafunk.com
Product page : http://www.ultrafunk.com/products/popcorn/

It works great to view mail on the server, delete if desired,
receive/send mail. I manually filter spam, Popcorn has no spam filters.

If you want to try a really good email client & Spam remover , this is
very good .

I can look at my mail on the ISP's server , delete ( spam removal ) ,
reply , click on links & if I want it on my comp , click on Move to >
Archive .
Use right click for some of the functions .

You can still leave any other email client installed . Just a matter
of choosing which one you want as default .
