Hi
Im trying to make a database wich gonna contain some data of my dogs
like the dogs id nr ,sex, parents, offsprings and so on but since im
very new to Access i was just wondering where should i start
could someone give me and hand on this one?

Regards Lj

Access is an excellent tool for what you want to do, but may be a bit of
overkill. How many dogs do you have? If it is only a few, you may be able to
do this in a spreadsheet application like Excel. If it is a large number and
you intend to store a large number of attributes, then Access is the way to
go.

The place to start is to open Access. Click Help and go to the Contents Tab.
Select Creating and working with databases and, from there go to About
Designing a Database. This will get you started and we will be glad to help
you from there.

lasse,

You can also download some templates at the Microsoft
website. There are some very good examples that can be
helpful. Go to microsoft.com - office - templates
and search ACCESS.
