Hello -

I have an Access database that I want to add animation,
graphics, etc... to and have been told that I should use
Front Page to create web pages for this.

If this is true, can someone please tell me how to get
started? I know NOTHING about Front Page or creating web
pages. Any help on how to get this going would be
appreciated!

Thanks!

That'a real tough one, Carol. What you're talking about (inserting binary
data into and fetching binary data out of an Access database) is not easily
done, and not done using any FrontPage wizards. It requires a good bit of
programming skill to do. Perhaps it isn't necessary to actually store these
objects in a database. What exactly are your requirements?

In general, you do not want to actually store images or other object
directly in the database, just links to these item which are stored in
folders within the web site.

You would use the FP Database component to retrieve any text info and a link
to the image to be displayed on your pages.
