New User of Order Entry Database

Can anyone help me? I am new to Access and the Order Entry database is almost
exactly what I need, with the exception of also needing a size and color
field. I added these fields to product table and also order detail table and
also the order detail subform but still can not add the info during entry. I
want to be able to either add new color (or size) or pull from previously
added entries during order entry . Any help would be appreciated. --

The size and color fields should not be on the products table. If you do
this then you will need to add a record for each size and color combination
available.
A separate ProductMatrix table related to the products is what should be
used.

I assume that you want to keep this simple, are using it yourself or with
somebody who knows what you have.
Build a size table and a color table.
Add the size and color fields to the details and to the query that runs the
subform if need be.
Use combo boxes to fill the size and color field. That way "purppple" (sic)
will always be spelled right and a single click will suffice.
