New user from Poland

Hello, I am from Poland.
I have a problem with Windows XP Proffessional.
I can type specific Polish sign like ś, ć, ś but I can't
type Ł or ł (those I copied from Openn Office - special
charakter). I type ś alt+s, ć - alt+c, etc. What to do?

What first comes to mind that your keyboard hardware and software
configuration of that keyboard are not aligned. I assume you have a
special Polish keyboard already. Check Control Panel/Keyboard that you
have the right keyboard define, and check Control Panel/Regional and
Language Settings that all are as you expect.
