New User Accounts and Desktop Settings

I would appreciate any help with the very simple thing of attempting to create a New User account on an XP Pro system, and setting different screen resolutions for each account. Currently changing the screen resolution whilst in one account, changes it in the other account as well. Is this too much too ask?
