What the hell are they thinking? Its of absolutely no use to me since company policy requires VB only. My company only employs 250 developers and buys 100 MSDN Subs each year - but here's a clue for MSFT: If you force us to change languages, the guys who back Java will take over.

Hi Jon,

Interesting can you explain it somewhat more for us?
(Where is the information about that new UI application block?)

I'm not sure why a company's policy would preclude the use of a component written in C#. You do not have to code in C# to use it

Is your issue that the stock application block would need to be modified by you in order to be used?

OK, that's it. I tried the same link before but I could not reach it
for some reason.
This is I think a better link, however it are a lot of pages, can this be
seen as a kind of C# resource kit?

Depends on what you define a "resource kit" to be. Version 1.0 is still
written in Visual Basic .NET, and the QuickStart samples are provided in
both languages. Consequently I don't see any problems in using the code
within a VB.NET project/solution.
