I have acquired a toolbar which always displays in IE6.0 (and Windows
Explorer). I have ran my antivirus software (AVG) but it doesn't pick up any
viruses. I have also removed temp files and cookies.

If you right click on the bar it doesn't give you an option to remove. If
you left click it takes you to an adware site.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
