New to Word XP: kill Task Panes?

I have just migrated from Word 2000 to Word XP. Is there any way to totally
globally kill all Task Pane pop ups for *any* function? _Especially_ the
Clipboard? Or do you just have to uncheck all the options with each
separate one as it comes? I'd also like to kill the annoying Reviewing
toolbar that thinks every doc I get from someone else needs reviewed for
changes!

You can suppress the Getting Started task pane (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/ShowTaskPane.htm), and you can avoid
the New Document task pane (by restoring the FileNewDialog command). The
Clipboard can be turned off using the settings in the task pane itself. As
for the Reviewing toolbar, see “Review Toolbar Annoyance” at
http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=221

Thank you very much, Suzanne ! I never would have thought to look into
Outlook for the Reviewing annoyance. Too bad there isn't a similar AutoExec
macro to turn off all Task Panes!
