New to Windows Mail - need help

I recently purchased a notebook with Vista installed. I had Office
Student/Teacher 2003 with Outlook 2003 installed on my old pc. I now have to
use "Windows Mail" that came pre-installed as part of Vista. I am trying to
change my signature (use clipart and fancy fonts), but I don't know how to
change it. In Outlook 2003, when you wanted to change your signature, it
would take you to Word to do an "advanced" edit.
Also, I could have sworn that in Outlook 2003 I desinated Word 2003 as my
email editor. I don't see that option for Windows Mail. I just purchased
Office 2007 Student/Teacher edition, but it does not come with Outlook. Can
anyone help?

If you still have Outlook 2003, you could try installing it under Vista.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I used up all my licenses from
Office 2003 and cannot install it on any more computers.

If you call Microsoft and explain that you trashed your previous PC,
they may grant you another license.

Thank you, Gary! I printed out the tutorial for the signature and will try
it when I get home from work. (Boy, they don't make it easy, do they?)
I will also call Microsoft to see if I can re-load Outlook 2003.
Unfortunately, I used up all the licenses on my children's computers, and it
won't allow me to download any more. My other notebook's screen broke, so
maybe they will allow me to download what I need to.
Do you happen to know who/where/phone number to contact to get the
information and permission I need to download from Microsoft?
Again, thank you so much for responding to my post.

Do you still have the CD for Office Student/Teacher edition 2003?
If so, MS allows two or three installs for Office, so you may be able to
use it to install Outlook 2003 on your new notebook.

For help with creating a sig, see this tutorial:

You can't use Word as an email editor for Windows Mail.

Try 1-888-652-2342 or 1-888-895-4335. I got these numbers from
http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-11192-0.html?forumID=52&threadID=196075&messageID=2034334

It's not a download. They will give you an activation number so you
can do another install from your CD.
