I would like to make sure I understand this before I download it and
use it. Is this like Dekart Private Disk Light where it creates a
container that you can encrypt? Or will this encrypt the HD the way
it is right now? TIA

The post says the encryption includes the OS (in fact multiple OS's)
which indicates to me the entire hard disk is encrypted and you can
only access it through the decryption driver.

Encrypting the OS strikes me as a very dangerous idea.

No software is perfect. It's bad enough if this thing were to screw
up and cause you to lose a container of data - to screw up and lose
the entire system is too risky just for the benefit of encrypting some
data.

Why would anyone want to encrypt an entire hard drive including the
OS? I suppose there might be some notion of shipping a drive with
sensitive data on it somewhere - but why would you have an OS on it at
all then - why not just ship a drive with a data partition?

The whole concept doesn't make sense to me.

Windows is very leaky and leaves temp files and other information in
various places all over the drive. Every operating system can be
compromised by key loggers, etc. Encrypting the entire drive will make the
use of these methods difficult. I've used programs for years inside of
encrypted containers without corrupting the data or the container failing.
