I have a website that has been up and running for quite some time. To built
it I used MSWord. I now want to use all the files in my website that are on
my hard drive with MSFrontPage. When I go to open lets say my index.htm file
in MSFrontpage, it still opens MSWord and then the file.

I have changed the file associations in File Manager from MSWord to
MSFrontPage and the file STILL opens MSWord and then my file. I want the
file to open in MSFrontpage.

Thanks

FrontPage will try to open a file in the program that originally created it.
In FP 2003, go to Tools | Options | click the Configure Editors tab, and
unceck the box for Open web pages in the Office Application that created
them.

Hope this helps,

PS
Also create a New Web/Site in FP and File Import all your Word created pages into it
- then suffer thru lots of painful edits to cleanout the Word generated "html"

IMHO
- better off starting from fresh
