how do i change me default email from yahoo to windows so i can send emails

For starters, you will need the Yahoo Plus email to setup the account in
Windows Mail at Tools - Accounts. Do you have Yahoo Plus (a premium pay-for
service)? Otherwise you can only use their web-based email.

instead of stating your own new thread?

You posted this via Comcast. Are you trying to set up an account using
Comcast as your server? Is it a Pop3 account?

i am really not sure ususally my son does all this for me. I know my yahoo
but don't know much about window mail live or otherwise. any help would be
appreciated. i just want to be able to send emails from different web
sites.
