New strain of dvldr32?

I can't get rid of this dvldr32.exe that I see in the Task Manager. I
first noticed it on Oct. 02, 2003 when my machine pretty much froze
while installing the latest updates on a brand new Win XP
installation.

Since then, I've reformatted the hard drive, reinstalled the OS,
pulled the network cable, used my hard drive's boot disk to write
zeros to the drive, flashed my MOBO bios and did an FDISK /MBR at
least 5 times (I lost count).

It was when I used a brand new hard drive and found that dvldr32.exe
was running right after I installed the OS (again) that I realized
something is REALLY wrong.

I HAVE checked various sources on how to get rid of this, by deleting
certain files and registry keys, but none of the files/keys exist on
my machine.??

Anyone else hacing this problem? My only guess is that it's a new
strain that my AV software can't detect yet. Any help or info would be
greatly appreciated! I'm so lost!!!

No, it's actually one of the drivers for Creative Labs Soundblaster
audio card - unless you have a different devldr32.

www.google.com, or groups.google.com, is your friend.

You're absolutely right... Gee, I feel sheepish...
I must've mistyped "devldr32.exe" with "dvldr32.exe" the first time I
googled it and then never paid much attention to the spelling in the
Task Manager thereafter. Duh...

Thanks!
