Perhaps the United States Congress should take up this matter.

Perhaps the United States Congress should take up this matter.

What exactly would that morally, ethically and financially corrupt bunch
of sleazebags do?

Oppress (not) packagers of "free" software (who load spyware into
"legitimate" software), and are simply trying to make a living (not)?
I agree the U.S. Congress is, in the main, composed of "pond scum", but
authors of spam & spyware are *much* (ymmv) worse.
