I was trying to fix something with my PC and at one point
after clicking the option to remove the check in " Hide
protected operating files " I clcked on the Autoexec.exe "
file. A warning came up that I had the Poe/bot.explorer
trojan. It put the trojan in Quarantine. The autoexec.exe
file reads 0 bytes. I clicked it again and the same
warning came up and did the same thing. So far I have
done it 3 times and each time the poe/bot comes up again.
I did a google search on it and it was just found this
month. Does anyone know anything about this? Check your
autoexec.exe file and do what I did and see what happens.
I just did a windows reinstall last week and this is
showing up. It sounds as though it is a very dangerous
trojan. Could someone please respond if you know of this
and what to do, and if not, ask around. Thanks Michael
