I have a PP for others to present. All the slides have some type of animated
text. Sometimes it fills the page..sometimes not. Is there a way to alert
the "unfamiliar" presenter that all the text animation is done for that
particular slide?

Thanks in advance

A trick that you can use is to add a subtle object and animate it to simply
"appear" as the last object on the slide. This can be something as simple
as a vertical or horizontal line that blends with your color scheme. I have
even used a small filled circle in the lower left corner. On a dark blue
background I would fill it with a harmonious medium blue. The audience
won't even notice it, but the presenter will see that it has appeared,
signalling that the slide is complete.

In addition to Sonia's thoughts, if all the animated text is part of a
placeholder, you can change the text alignment of that placeholder to
'bottom' - that way the last text of the slide will always be at the same
level for all slides in the presentation.

Hi,

And in addition to Sonia and Geetesh.....

I go for a full stop at the end of each last line. Small, and looks like it
is supposed to be there!

So you think a WAV of Porky Pig doing the Warner Brothers
"BadeepBadeepBadeepBaThat's All, Folks!" would be over the top?

Or is it just the Warner Brothers attorneys that'd worry you? ;-)

Actually I DO have the wav and the logo for the end of one of my
presentations....Gets great reviews.
Thanks

Watch out for the attorneys ... for home use, you're probably ok with this, but
unless you have permission to use it commercially, I'd be *very* cautious.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint doesn't provide the functionality that you are looking for
(although, as others have suggested, there are manual workarounds).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide this kind of functionality natively (without requiring
workarounds, VBA or 3rd party tools), don't forget to send your feedback
(in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
