Looks like spam, smells like spam...

Is this SPAM or should I consider clicking on his link and downloading
different drivers to get better performance out of my MSI NX 7600GS?

I know I used to use non-ati drivers on my old laptop to get better
performance. Can't remember the driver name though.

Isn't spam.

Guru3D are a well respected and well known website for producing
performance modded drivers. Rivatuner is a FREEWARE tuning app for
nVidia cards that's been around for donkeys years and allows access to
hidden settings.

Nvidia withdrew the 162.15 drivers and are supposed to be re-releasing
them this week.

Not spam, Trimble's a regular poster in uk.comp.homebuilt and as Conor
says, Guru3d is a well respected (by me anyway) site. you can do a lot
worse than visit there.

Omega? http://www.omegadrivers.net/

They're featured on guru3d as well along with NGO. None of which could
really fix the problems in GTA-SA for me (background flickering) but I
live with it, snot too bad.

Possibly still an unwanted noise level, do we really want
updates every time an application or driver version (for
anything hardware related) changes?

I don't think he does it every time it changes, in fact only once I can
see, hardly what I'd call noise.

I tried to BBQ some spam a few years ago, it just melted into coals.
Even cooked on a stove, you have to be really hungry to enjoy the stuff
:)
