It would appear that the QuickCam Orbit (non-MP) is not (yet) supported
under Vista.
My QuickCam Pro 5000's microphone was installed during the
original Vista install (both x86 and x64) and long before Logitech
released Vista specific drivers, on Vista x86 only, I got a driver via
Windows Update called "Logicool" drivers that enabled full camera
functionality.
The Orbit (non-MP) is not listed on the Vista x64 page at:
http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com...nBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9dmlzdGE*&p_li=&p_topview=1
| Well, I've installed the drivers and with a mixed results.
| After clicking on the icon application , it says that:
| " AWebCam could not be found or is not working properly."
|
| It seems that I haven't got a successful installation.
| There is no microphone option for QuickCam Orbit option
| to select. Something went wrong during the installation.
|
| I don't think that it matters, but my Web Cam is only
| A WebCam Orbit ( without the MP). And the red light
| is constantly ON - even when the WebCam is switched OFF.
| That's definitely wrong.
