Hello,
I've given up on my presvious questions a few posts back, because I've just
discovered that my ISP blocks all inbound ports below 1024, so I can't
tunnel through HTTP.
I'm trying to use DynDNS to access my home PC from work, using VNC. The
firewall at work blocks all outgoing ports except 22 and 80, and my ISP
blocks all incoming ports below 1024. So, I've been trying to use
DynDNS.com's URL redirect feature to redirect a normal web access to
<RedirectURL>:80 to <MyPCAddressURL>:5900. My PC's web address
<MyPCAddressURL>: is also dynamically assignerd by DynDNS.com.
Is the <RedirectURL> a fake address, or do I also have to register it to my
machine's IP address, similar to <MyPCAddressURL>? How do I fill in the
fields on the DynDNS site? I'm getting confused because the explanation at
the DynDNS site is not very good.
Many thanks,
Paul
