New problems after install

After installing the Business Contact Manager into Outlook 2003 I had some
problems.

1) Now I get prompted to dial up some of my email accounts even though I am
online.
2) Explorer now has problems connecting. I select a favorite and Explorer
asks if I want to connect, when I say yes, it goes to a dail up as if I am
not on line. Happens constantly now.

I have uninstalled Business Contact manager and SQL but the damage is still
there.
Anyone know what has changed to cause these problems?
 
I've never run into any access-to-email-provider issues with BCM, and
I'm not aware of any parts of BCM that might have an effect.

Are you using the same mail profile you were using before installing
BCM (e.g. does the calendar have the same appointments)?
 
Yes, everything looks unchanged and the same as before the install.... I am
very puzzled. I thought it mightbe some security issue or pop-up blocker
issue, but with the install remoived, I would assume those would be OK.
