Hi, I've recently validated my XP Pro system but I now have a number of
errors, mainly:
My video card is now no longer recognised by XP
When I run the Backup program I get the "famous blue screen"
When I tried to start Media player 11, same as for backup.
My system has slowed down dramatically.
I use a MSI Motherboard with a videocard plugged directly into it.
Has anyone any solutions?
Thank you!

You must install drivers for the video card to be recognized, download the
latest from the manufacturer's web site.

Not with the lack of details provided...

What do you mean by 'validated my XP Pro system'?
- Activated?
- WGA?
- Something else?

Are you trying to tie this 'validation' in with your current issues?

Why did you just 'recently validate' Windows XP?
- Fresh installation?

What do you mean 'video card is now no longer recognized'?
- Did you use Windows Updates to get hardware drivers recently?
- Did you install the latest drivers for that particular piece of hardware
straight from the manufacturer's support web page?

Your 'famous blue screen' - can you give more details?
- Blue's a color - it's the words on the bluescreen and those put in the
event log that help diagnose the problem.

What type of maintenance do you perform on your system regularly?
- Scan for/eliminate spyware/adware
- Scan for/eliminate viruses/trojans/worms
- Check the list of running/installed applications and minimize to what is
necessary
- CHKDSK
- Defragmentation
