New problem: Combo box on form cannot be changed

What would cause a combo box on a custom form to disallow changes? For one
or two users of one particular custom Outlook form, a certain combo box
comes up painted incorrectly and then does not allow changes. I can
duplicate it, but I haven't figured out why, yet. Any ideas to get my
thoughts moving in the right direction??

TIA!

Bryan

What do you mean by "painted incorrectly"? Where is the form published? What
version of Outlook? What kind of folder (public, personal, other user
mailbox) contains the items?

Thanks for your response, but I think I've got it fixed. I found a MS KB
article that outlined my problems and the fixes that I should do and that
problem is fixed. The custom form was using the ".Find" method of the
UserProperties where MS had noted that this was a problem for OL 2002 SP3.
We were also able to get the user an upgraded box with WinXP and Office
2003. That helped, too.

Now, I have other problems. The *(&%^%#^&I)_(*(%^^%!!!!!!!!!! Forms Cache!
I have also done enough research there to know that MS also intends for a
fix to be included in SP1 for OL 2003. Is that out yet? If not, when?

One other problem I haven't found anything on is an intermittent problem
where OL 2003 hangs, stalls and then crashes. Doesn't seem to be much rhyme
or reason to this one, but it's as frustrating as the previous problems.

SP1 is due sometime this summer. Hold on.

An intermittent crash is pretty hard to diagnose, but you might check the
Windows event log for clues.
