New Printers

The new printers are only compatible with Outlook Express. I have Vista with
windows mail and can't use some features because of this. Can Outlook be
installed in Vista?
 
What new printers? It's not a Windows Mail issue but more likely a driver
issue. Check at the Website for the printer and see if they have new
drivers for Vista. I have a three year old Epson printer that works with
my XP machine and my Win7 machine, but I had to download drivers for the
Win7 machine.

Outlook can be installed in Vista, but not Outlook Express.
 
As Bruce indicated, you need new drivers. I also have a > 5yo HP that
needed new drivers to work with Vista / W7. Got them from the HP downloads
website, installed, and the printer works just fine. Note that these
drivers are often updated and should be checked for updates regularly - all
supplemental hardware, not just printers.
