hi,
i am going to build a new cpu since i have monitor, keyboard and
mouse. i am going to use it for my studies. Is there any component
missing from the list or could you suggest anything to change for
better performance.

motherboard and processor (combined)- intel
harddisk - 80 gb sata
ram - 512 ddr2 633mhz
smps
and a dvd rw

Does the motherboard have integrated video output (VGA connector on
back of motherboard) ?

If not, you need a video card.

Does the motherboard have integrated LAN chip ? If not, you'll need
a NIC card, or a Wifi card etc. Consider your networking solution,
for connecting to the outside world.

You'll also need a computer case.

And a copy of an OS to install.

A matching power supply and case to fit your form factor. You may
need USB ports and card reader. 1GB of RAM could be a better value.

thanks for your suggestions.
the motherboard which i mentioned has in built video card and lan
chip.
yeah i need to check about the card reader and the usb ports.
