After installing "Robin Hood" and DirectX v8.1, my Dell PC
(W2K Pro) rebooted itself. Right after the Dell logo
clears, I get a black screen with words, "CURRENT
PASSWORD:". I have no clue what the password is or
whether this password screen is from Dell, MS, RH, or
DirX...or a virus. After each wrong guess I get an "X"
next to the password entry, and locked out after 3rd wrong
guess. Can anyone figure out what this is and how I can
get past or rid of it? Thanks!

Ever seen those 'evidence eliminator' spam emails? This
is a peice of VB Blaotware that covers the tracks of
someone who doesnt want some else knowing what they're
doing with a computer. I wouldn't recommend it.

Seriously, this sounds like a bios based log-on password.

Sounds to me like RH is what screwed Randy up.
