Is Vista better than XP Pro in any meaningful way other than being hot/new?

Unless you have some pretty decent hardware, Vista is going to run rather
slowly.
Basically though, a dual core CPU, with 2 gigs of RAM
and a medium-end PCIe video card should suffice...
I tried it and did not find it to be that good. I plan on staying withIs Vista better than XP Pro in any meaningful way other than being hot/new?
