Control Panel User's Guide

I just installed these into Win XP Pro/SP2 and:

The OS has created a new user 'ASP.net' and now I have to click on a user to log in whereas previously it just booted.

It's taking literally 3 or 4 times as long to boot to stable OS.

There's a helluva lot of hard disk activity and there wasn't before.

Crysis doesn't look or act any differently from when I was using 163.75

I would not recommend these drivers, Nvidia don't always get it right, anybody remember 77.77?

I have deleted that Network user account and now my version of XP boots straight in without me having to log in. But it's still taking a lot longer to boot.

I am going to uninstall these Beta drivers and reinstall 163.75 again.

Why the hell would Nvidia mess with the network settings? This, to me, smacks of ATI's control panel's dependence of MS's net framework.

Ok all seems to be fine at present booted great no problems as yet

Well they certainly didn't agree with my system - XP Pro SP2; all updates; hardware as in sig.

Have now gone back to V163.75 and all is well.

I agree 2d was fine, however as soon as gameplay started I got freezes and plenty of stuttering not good nvidia, not good at all!!

Reverted back to previous driver
