For my Asus A7n8X board I downloaded the latest (11-3-03) all-in-one chipset
driver which contained a new IDE nforce driver. Before the update, HDTach
was showing a CPU Utilization of 60-70% in benchmarks and now it is down to
18% with new drivers. What would be considered a good/fair number to try
to attain?? Using a Maxtor DiamondMax9 btw.

I get 1-2% CPU utilisation when benchmarking my two DiamondMax drives.

That nForce chipset seems to have major bus mastering issues.
