So far, it's showing up on Sympatico (in Canada), and I expect that by
the end of the week, it will show up on Giganews (which serves Rogers in
Canada).

If after you've refreshed your news groups list and it still doesn't
show up, then ask your ISP to add it, it won't be picked up without
someone requesting it first.

Hey Judd, you're welcome to this group too, there's gonna be plenty of
discussion about Intel here too. Albeit with a bit of an AMD tilt to it. :-)

And best of all, we'll be getting all of that debate out of
comp.sys.intel and comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.chips.

I don't know if giganews is carrying it for their customers, but it's
transiting their servers because we're getting it in our feed exchange
with them, including posts that are only posted to
alt.invest.stocks.amd , not just the ones that are cross-posted to
other groups.

Hi David, welcome aboard. Yes, that's exactly what the case is so far, I
noticed some posts which had transited through Giganews, but when I
tried to access the group through Giganews itself, I didn't see it.

I do have a couple of cases open with Giganews, as well as Google
Groups, to have them both start carrying the group. I sure hope the fact
that Rogers High Speed Internet in Canada has decided to get rid of all
of their newsgroup accesses (which they were providing subcontracted
through Giganews) as of Dec 15th isn't going to mean that Giganews will
put my request on the extreme backburner. :-)
