Okay, USB modems are not popular so I'll make the assumption that your
USB ADSL modem is hooked up to your box#1 via a USB cable?

If correct this is how u hook things up:

box#2 (realtech) -> ethernet -> (RhineII) box#1 (USB) -> ASDL modem.

box#1 must be running W2K or XP and ICS (Internet Sharing Service)
enabled.

Obviously box#1 has got to be on everytime box#2 needs Internet
access.

Most people just order an ethernet ADSL modem, and spend $50 for a
router so that....

box#1 ------> Ethernet Ethernet
box#2 ------> Router/Switch -----> ASDL modem

and u can hookup as many PC as u want.

Here's what I get form your post:

Computer A - USB DSL Modem and a NIC
Computer B - NIC

All you need as far as hardware goes to network the two is a crossover
cable between Computer A's NIC & Computer B's NIC, and proper TCP/IP
settings (in a different subnet than the "virtual" interface of the DSL
modem) on both computers. If you want Computer B to share Internet, enable
Internet Connection Sharing for the DSL Interface on computer A. You can do
the whole thing for about $3 bucks (the price of a crossover cable). Make
sure you buy a crossover and not a straight through cable.
