I have an annoying installation problem with a USB Broadband Modem under
Vista (Model: ZTE MF-622)
The modem installed itself OK, including it's own software control panel,
but everytime I click "Connect" to connect to the ISP ('3' Network in the
UK), Vista detects a totally new network, and pops up the "New Network
Connection" dialog to select a location for the new connection. I have turned
off the notification of new networks, but it still creates a new connection
profile everytime I connect.
I now have '3', '3 2', '3 3', '3 4', '3 5', '3 6' and I'm still counting.....
How do I stop this behaviour before my Registry completely fills up with
Network Profile Entries?
