new modem detected message

Hello,

When I start my PDA under Windows Mobile 5, I have often
the message "new modem detected ..". Is it possible to forbid this message
by program?

Tell us something about where this modem is coming from. It might help to
know the device type, also.

Hello,

On the PDA, I installed only my application (without use of connexion) and
when I switch off / on the device I have a system message on my application:
new modem detected.
I want to forbid the message to avoid the user clicks on and goes to the
system.

What I want to know is *why* is this message being generated. The device
has some reason to think that there is a new modem. That may be a critical
piece of information to figuring out what to do about it.
