New Mail Displayed

I have windows XP and Outlook 2000. How do I get new
mail to show up on my system tray? In options I have
checked both boxes on incoming mail, but still doesn't
show on tray. Any suggestions?

Issue resolved. It was showing, but was hidden. I was

able to tell it to display at all times and that
corrected the problem.
