New Laptop

Hi guys,

Need some help in choosing a new laptop, im looking for a powerful machine capable of the latest games, dont know whether to go for Intel or Amd, i have about 3000 quid to spend, any recommendations.

Yep desktop and save about 1500. Better still build one to your own spec if you know how
 
If you really want a laptop for games, with a budget of 3K I would look at SavRow - they are awesome, with excellent customer service and back-up :thumb:
 
OK, i posted the "get a desktop" last night when i was tired and off to bed, it was a bit of a joke, but in all seriousness, you are much better getting a desktop, esp if you have a budget of 3000 and you wanna play games. You will get a much better machine for a fraction of the cost. And if you want to spend 3000, you would get an awesome desktop mate!!!!

Why do you need a laptop, will you be needing to take it to lots of different places?
 
It might even be worth splitting your budget, and getting a awesome gaming desktop, AND a fairly powerfull laptop for travelling with. You can easy get both for your budget.

Alienware laptops are pretty good for gaming, so they'd be worth a look.
