new ip address = no connection

I'm missing something. We changed our internet connection from
fractional-T1 to cable, getting a new IP address in the process. The
internet works fine. The local network is OK. Remote users cannot connect
to the TS anymore using the new IP address. I can ping the new IP (I did
confirm the new IP with the cable company and they do not block port 3389).
We have a Win 2000 server as the TS and Win 2000 SBS as the domain
controller. I checked the router (Nokia) and it's still configured to
forward connections to the TS. It's LAN address is unchanged and I can't
find a WAN address setting. I've turned everything off/on and renewed DNS &
DHCP but still no outside connection. Any ideas?

What device actually has the new IP address? It should be the Nokia router,
since that is what will forward the port to the TS. I'm guessing it's the
cable modem. Is the Nokia getting a DHCP address from the cable modem?
 
The Nokia router has a new WAN IP assigned from Comcast cable. It gets its
local setting or DHCP from the modem as well. That was the problem. It was
being assigned X.X.X.90 when it was first in line and the Gateway was
X.X.X.1. I changed it to X.X.X.2 and everyone is happy. Thank you for your
