Just installed the new Intellipoint software - 5.4 - and my wireless
Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 mouse no longer has functionality with all 5
of the buttons.

Google searched and don't see anything relevant.

You should be using IntelliPoint v5.2 with that particular mouse.
Uninstall the 5.4 version, then install v5.2.

In the CONNECTED DEVICE box, you did select the 2.0 Explorer mouse?

Intellipoint 5.4 work well with my WIME 2.0.
The default buttons may be different from previous versions of Intellipoint,
so confirm that they are assigned as expected in the mouse control panel.

What interface is the mouse connected to the computer by? PS2 or USB? Also
make sure your mouse is connected directly into your computer and not
through a switch for the sake of troubleshooting.

Connected directly to USB 2.0 port on motherboard and have reassigned
buttons per my custom usage.
