new installl questions--

have a p-3 hp computer with windows 98 expanded, 650mhz,
wanted to upgrade to xp home OS--seemed to install ok,
but the printer, cable modem (motorola, comcast) will not
operate- and cannot get to internet. any simple thoughts
about how to redo the installation as i uninstalled
things to begin at the beginning. Thanks.
 
You need to install the proper drivers for these devices. You will have to
use another computer that is connected to the internet and go to the web
site for the device and download the proper XP drivers.
