New Installer - Cool!

I notice that the new build of MSAS has included a new installer, very nice.
I'm expecting great things by beta 2.

You bring up a good point. The new build is still labelled beta 1. So if
you are alarmed that the bug you've noticed every day using the product
isn't yet fixed--don't be. This is not beta 2 yet.

Yes, I agree Bill, there is still the slow launch time, I know that will be
fixed by beta 2, but installer update is really nice.

What things have you tried--in terms of the launch time? I guess clearly
you've done an update install, 'cause you did that to get to 509.

What's the launch time like in safe mode if you disable all non-MS startup
items?
