New Installation of Windows 2000 server

Hi
I need to install windows 2000 server on a computer with a brand new hard disk(unformatted). What is the best way to install windows 2000 server with this situation. Can I configure the hard disk using dos command? Any help is appreciated

Boot up with the cd and configure the drive during setup. No need for
DOS.....
