I built a new system over the weekend, with a processor
and motherboard that support hyper threading. When trying
to install Win XP for setup, I get an error with i386
\nthrklmp.exe. I asked a few friends and was told this had
to do with the hyper threading that the motherboard was
recognizing the processors as dual processors. So, I went
into BIOS and disabled the hyper threading, but I'm still
getting the error. Someone mentioned something about the
Win XP Service Pack, but I'm really unsure where to go
from here.

go start/help and support/search - hyper threading/
select following and any other of 13-results - ie

Cannot Select MPS Uniprocessor or ACPI Uniprocessor HAL

Installation of Hotfix Leaves Temporary Folder on Hyper-
Threaded or Multiprocessor Computer

and take it fr there
