Hi, when I first went to boot on a new build, I got repeating short
beeps that was non stop. Replaced video card, and now I have no beeps,
no boot, and no video. What's next, power supply? I have a SK8N
motherboard, AMI BIOS. Thanks

Rule out a corrupt bios first.

Remove ALL power from system, including removing the plug from the wall
socket, reset the bios (usually by a jumper on the mobo). Power up and see
if you get anywhere.

I've got Kingston ram that is on the ASUS website and I've reset it it
a number of times. During bootup, I also noticed that the hard drives
didn't seem to spin up either.

The following assumes you are using at least 2 memory modules....

Definitely check your RAM. I was having the same symptoms on my
p4p800 that you are experiencing. The problem was traced to a bad
DIMM socket on the motherboard. I am not familiar with the SK8N but I
see that it supports dual-channel RAM (like the p4p800). If the mb
allows, try using a single memory module in socket 1, then 2, then 3,
then 4. See if it posts in any configuration. If not, you might also
try using a different memory stick, just to be sure that the memory
itself is good.

In my case, DIMM socket #3 was bad.
