I am trying to do a fresh install of Windows XP Professional. I have the PC
start up on the CD to do the install. After I create the partition to
install to and it finishes the copying the files it tells me that it needs
to reboot to finish the install. After the reboot it starts the entire
process over from the beginning. I have tried this several times recreating
the partition with different sizes, doing a fast format and a full format on
the partition, but I get the same results every time.

Any help will be appreciated.

you could try taking the disc out of the drive when it reboots until windows
asks for it

After you finish installing Win XP, when the computer restarts go to the
BIOS by pressing the Del key while it starts up. Then in the BIOS change the
Boot Device Priority to your Hard disk. This should correct your problem.
