New IE7 has old Beta problem

I used IE7 Beta for a while but had to uninstall it because it caused
problems with video downloads. Today, I installed the new full version of
IE7. Unfortunately, it has the same old problem. Many links with video
downloads do not work. The Windows Media player v.10 opens, the hourglass
appears and the player frizzes. The only way out is to End Now via Task
Manager... I send 8 error messages to MS...
Am I the only one who has this problem? Is there a workaround?

Hmmm... there is no IE7 specific newsgroup and we are asked to post in
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup - which doesn't exist?

You'd better reset your newsgroup list for msnews.microsoft.com
 
Frank, I did. But it did not help solve my problem :-)

P.C. BTW, what difference it makes? In the past, I set all the MS groups on
msnews. Recently, when I tried to repair all accounts, EarthLink offered all
the MS groups. So, I subscribed from there and didn't notice any problem.
May you please enlighten me about the difference?
 
O, now I see. At first, I could not understand why should I use another
server... Well, thanks for advice anyway!
