New IE pages wont load

Hi,
Whenever I follow a link that displays a page in a new window or if I
select to load in new window, it wont load. I have to stop it and refresh
which works everytime but when pages load in browser windows without the
toolbar I'm stuck. As a result I'm writing this in firefox as I can't get IE
to load the new question page as I can't select to stop and refresh.
Webpages that load in the current window work fine.

This is only a recent problem and I don't think I've done anything to bring
it about.

Any help would be appreciated,
