Hi. I just bought a new SATA HD. I installed it (properly), and I can see it
correctly in Setup as secondary SATA, I also can see it in Device Manager as
okay, enabled and everything, but I cannot see it in Explorer !

So.... how do I even start to format it ?

C is my current (main) HD, D & E my CD and DVD, respectively, and that's
all.
XPPro, Dell 4600.

Please help....

Thanks a lot.

Have you tried:-
Control Panels->Administrative Tools->Computer
Management->Storage->Disk Management?

right click 'My Computer' and select Manage.
this will bring up a box called 'Computer Management'
select 'Disk Management'. In here you will be able to firstly Partition the
new drive and secondly Format it. Then it will automatically be assigned a
drive letter but you can also change that here if you want to.
If you cant find your way through that then download a hard drive
installation program from the website of your drive's manufacturer.
